Dish Crew Job Overview

At Roots Natural Kitchen, we're looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our dish crew. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude during all scheduled shifts. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, and strives for excellence in everything they do.

In this role, you will be responsible for washing dishes by hand, using our efficient dishwashing process, and keeping your station spotless and organized. You will also assist with sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning trash cans, and disposing of garbage. **Key Responsibilities:**
  • Loyally follow and successfully execute our food safety practices and instructions from the Leadership Team.
  • Keep dish room and storage area spotless and organized at all times.
  • Multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Prepare three compartment sink with proper chemicals and clean dishes, pans, and containers.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen, storage, and line area floors.
  • Clean trash cans and dispose of garbage.
  • Open and close dish room according to restaurant standards.
  • Actively communicate with Leadership Team, grill, and line crewmembers.
  • Maintain positive and cheerful attitude during all scheduled shifts.
