Job Overview

The Power Tool Repair Technician is a key member of our team at Durofix Inc, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our power tools. As a customer-focused professional, you will be able to follow and develop processes, and be willing to take on additional duties which can include troubleshooting and repair.

This position will interface with our customer service team as needed to coordinate the RMA returns. You may work directly with customers to address their needs and expectations. Your responsibilities will include receiving customer product returns, performing post-return analysis, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain power tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Replace parts for TPMS and other equipment
  • Review and clean up quarantined inventory for resale purposes and provide feedback to our sales department
  • Assist in daily warehouse operations, including pick/pack/ship tasks as needed
  • Manage and maintain case logs on repair/return lists across various selling platforms
  • Collaborate with our warehouse supervisor and operations department on a daily basis

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering background (1 year of experience preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work and be self-motivated
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
