Position Overview

The Post Partum Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. This role includes the supervision of nursing staff to whom care is delegated, ensuring that high-quality and safe nursing care is delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement direct patient care.
  • Support the facility's Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining nursing care standards.
  • Oversee the competency of clinical staff and manage resources effectively.
Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Education: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's).

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an Acute Care hospital setting within the Post Partum specialty.

Licensure: Must hold a current nursing license and meet all certification requirements relevant to the nursing specialty. CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
