Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
- Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
- Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
- Participate in identifying and meeting personal and professional learning needs.
- Attend education programs based on identified learning needs.
- Utilize patient education materials pertinent to patient population.
- Assess readiness and developmental level of patients and factors affecting their ability to learn.
- Assess and anticipate discharge needs of patients and families.
- Collaborate with patients and families to prepare or update care plans.

- Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs.
- Consult with appropriate resources for patients with complex care issues or high-risk discharge planning.
- Participate in development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities.
- Provide feedback to coworkers and facilitate intra/interdepartmental collaboration.
- Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment.
- Develop professional growth goals and achieve them within identified timeframes.
- Promote cost-effective care and communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care.
