The estimated salary range for this internship is $40,000 - $45,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Music Therapy Specialist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide music therapy sessions to patients and their families. You will observe and assist with sessions, co-lead sessions with your supervisor, and develop your skills and confidence as a music therapist.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, and will be required to create an internship project specific to the population or incorporate internship experience data for your potential research/thesis project.

This is a 4 day/32 hour a week position, with regular supervision and support from our experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and assist with music therapy sessions
  • Co-lead sessions with supervisor
  • Develop skills and confidence as a music therapist
  • Create an internship project specific to the population or incorporate internship experience data for potential research/thesis project
