Navy Medical Rehabilitation Specialist

In this exciting role, you will work as an Occupational Therapist in the US Navy, providing expert care to patients who have suffered physical limitations due to injury, disease, or other conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing various therapies to help them regain their independence and mobility. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and may serve on one of our hospital ships or at a naval medical facility. With your skills and expertise, you will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Salary and Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$95,000, depending on your level of experience. This compensation package also includes comprehensive benefits, including access to top-notch medical facilities, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development. In addition, as a US Navy employee, you will receive a housing allowance and food allowances, which can significantly enhance your quality of life.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree from a four-year college or university and be currently licensed and practicing in the United States. You should also have a strong background in occupational therapy, including knowledge of various treatments and therapies. Furthermore, you must be willing to serve a minimum of three years active duty and pass a full medical examination. Prior experience in the military or other healthcare settings is highly desirable.
