Job Summary

The Assembler I will play a crucial role in the manufacture of assemblies/sub-assemblies, responsible for assembling various components to deliver final products. This position requires efficient operations and assembly tasks at different workstations, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components such as wires, hoses, instrument panels, doors, handles, and underbodies
  • Route all harnesses through the facility
  • Use manipulators and tools with standard work instructions
  • Complete function testing and support validation checks
  • Serve as the first line of defense by observing components through ongoing quality checks
  • Assist in driving back defects to the point of origin and implementing corrective action
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures and 5S standards
Requirements
  • Basic computer, math, and reading skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment and processes
  • Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least six months of experience in automotive manufacturing
  • Previous assembly experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or certification program in an equivalent field
