Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive services to students with diverse needs in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure coordinated services.
  • Deliver effective therapy interventions to address motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and mobility.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers and staff in promoting optimal physical development and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measure progress.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
