Central Laboratory - Microbiology

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform specimen processing, test performance, and reporting of test results.
  • Conduct waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director.
  • Report results of all tests performed according to established procedures.
  • Participate in quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department.
  • Perform specimen collection as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution (MLT).
  • Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university (MT).
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
  • At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
