Petrochemical Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Industry Purchaser to join our team at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, goods, and services from suppliers while ensuring timely delivery and meeting budget targets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, a strong understanding of procurement techniques, and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best possible price/terms.
• Evaluating proposals and analyzing data to determine the most advantageous option.
• Verifying the accuracy of purchase orders and contracts.
• Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or supply chain management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
