CNC Machinist II - 1st Shift

Job Summary:

Coperion is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II - 1st Shift to operate manual and CNC machinery on a production basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist and be able to correctly read required measuring devices and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual and CNC machinery to produce arbors, jigs, and tools to hold work pieces in the machine.
  • Perform tool work as needed.
  • Work on other machines such as key seater pull broach, de-burring, sandblasting, and honing, including loading, unloading, and setting up.
  • Clean and maintain machines periodically.
  • Lift weights of up to 40 lbs.
  • Perform quality control checks of screw elements using gauges.
  • De-burr and sandblast all parts as needed.
  • Clean the shop area as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Ability to correctly read required measuring devices.
  • Ability to read necessary blueprints.
