Job Overview

American Pump Repair & Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service various electrical control systems for the water and wastewater industries.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of electrical theory and its application to diverse scenarios, as well as proficiency in reading wiring schematics and utilizing electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities include installing conduit, wire, and electrical enclosures, commissioning and troubleshooting control panel components, and working effectively individually and with a small team.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with benefits including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, training and development opportunities, and vision insurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years of industrial/municipal electrical experience preferred
  • Clean driving and criminal records
  • Ability to work well individually and with a small team
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and problem-solving abilities
