Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Mammo Technologist to join our team.
About the Role:
The Mammo Technologist will be responsible for performing specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. This role requires a strong understanding of mammographic radiographic equipment and the ability to operate it safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Perform mammograms and other breast imaging procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide direct care to a diverse patient population
• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient examinations and treatments
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (M) - Mammography registration
• BLS certification
