CDL A Local Dry Van Driver Job Summary

System Freight, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL A Local Dry Van driver to join our team in Mt. Carmel, PA. As a CDL A Local Dry Van driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a modern, clean fleet of late-model equipment on local routes within the Mt. Carmel, PA area.
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic transmission trucks, with outward-facing dashcams for added safety.
  • Work a Monday-Friday PM shift schedule with occasional routes to the Bronx and Staten Island.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual pay: $73,000-$75,000
  • Weekly pay: $1,400-$1,450
  • Breakdown pay: $21.05/hour
  • Sign-on bonus: $4,000
  • Referral bonus available
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly
Benefits Package
  • Low-cost medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage starting on the 1st of the month after 60 days
  • Sick days available, vary by location
  • Personal days available, vary by location
  • Vacation days available, vary by location
  • Paid holidays: $210.40 per holiday (after 90-day probationary period) as long as the driver works the day before and the day after
  • 401(k) eligible after 6 months

Requirements
  • Valid CDL A License
  • 3 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
  • Must be at least 24 years old
  • Acceptable MVR and criminal history
  • Must have steel-toe boots and wear a safety vest
  • Must be located within 30 miles of Mt. Carmel, PA
