Overview: The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a dedicated General Cardiologist to enhance our healthcare services at the Ambulatory Care Center. Our commitment is to provide outstanding and personalized medical care to our esteemed Veterans.
Role Responsibilities: As an integral part of our specialized team, you will collaborate with a comprehensive support staff. The standard work schedule consists of five days per week, with an option for a compressed schedule of four 10-hour days. This position is entirely outpatient with no on-call duties.
Key Duties Include:
- Providing consultative and preventive cardiovascular care
- Managing a patient load of approximately 10-12 individuals daily
- Performing procedures such as 2D echocardiography, Holter and event monitoring, stress testing, and nuclear perfusion studies
Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen
- Possess a valid US medical license (any state) without any history of suspension or revocation
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology
