Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bicycle Wheel Assembler to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and assembling high-performance bicycle wheels, ensuring precision, quality, and durability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble bicycle wheels from individual components (rims, hubs, and spokes) according to specifications.
  • Install and adjust hubs, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
  • Tension and true spokes to create balanced, structurally sound wheels.
  • Inspect finished wheels for defects, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure wheels meet performance requirements.
  • Operate hand tools and machinery (spoke tensioners, wheel truing stands, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed within the production department.
Requirements:
  • Prior mechanical or assembly experience.
  • Previous experience working with hand tools.
  • Ability to communicate and get along with a diverse population.
  • Mechanically inclined and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Presentation of a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to multitask and change focus as needed.
  • Knowledge of computers and technology a plus.
  • Dedication to getting the job done.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to stand and use hands for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
