Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and flexible Chemistry Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical, and psychological growth.
• Create and implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
• Update and maintain all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
• Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community.
• Ensure that student growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject area.
• Strong classroom management skills required.
• Highly organized; flexible in meeting the needs of boarding students and their families.
• Ability to create lesson plans to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
• Technologically savvy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area.
• Former student athlete.
• International education experience.
• Experience working with student athletes.
• NCAA, Compliance experience.
• Bilingual.
