Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) at Emerson Hospital plays a critical role in providing expert clinical care, education, and consultation to patients and staff. As a key member of the nursing team, the CNS is responsible for monitoring patient care, providing clinical support, and promoting patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to improve patient care and outcomes
- Provide clinical support and education to patients and staff
- Monitor patient care and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Three or more years of clinical nursing experience, including experience in oncology infusion
- Teaching and consultative experience preferred
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BLS healthcare provider certification
- Basic nursing skills
- Excellent communication and assessment skills
- Critical thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to maintain confidential information
