Mixology Specialist

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

This high-end steakhouse is located on Route 66 and offers an exceptional dining experience with its exquisite cuisine and timeless décor.

We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team as a Mixology Specialist. This part-time position involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
• Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring customer consumption of alcohol.
• Accurately handle cash, card, and room charge transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and organizing the liquor room.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to provide timely service during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in hotels.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• Proficiency with TOAST POS systems for processing orders and payments.
• A passion for mixology with an eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must have a valid San Bernardino County Food Handler card or the willing ability to obtain one within 7 days of hire.
