Tyler Technologies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to become a vital member of our Property & Recording Finance team. This role is essential for conducting comprehensive financial planning and analysis for the P&R Division.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance, P&R, delivering critical financial analysis across various domains, including financial outcomes, strategic planning, forecasting, and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and consolidate financial plans and forecasts for the P&R Division.
- Analyze actual results against expectations for senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations to enhance business operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiencies and profitability.
- Advise on strategic actions based on financial insights, cost assessments, and revenue/expense evaluations.
- Conduct industry analysis as required.
- Deliver ongoing financial modeling and analysis to support business initiatives and various ad hoc projects.
- Prepare presentation-ready reports on a biweekly, quarterly, and annual basis for senior management, including financial forecasts and operational performance metrics.
- Assist in developing performance and profitability metrics to ensure alignment with business expectations.
- Maintain flash reports featuring relevant metrics and performance trends to aid strategic decision-making and resource optimization.
- Compile quarterly review packages.
- Serve as a key resource for developing and managing financial databases that support actual, planned, and projected financial data, utilizing ACCESS.
- Engage in ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial roles, particularly in financial planning.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements is essential.
- Knowledge of financial concepts extending beyond basic accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and ACCESS database development and queries.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interface with multiple departments and cultivate relationships with key finance personnel. This role requires direct collaboration with senior management, with the work being recognized at the highest levels of the organization.
