About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a Providence caregiver, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse population of medical-surgical patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
