Job Summary:

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
  • Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire.
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Professional certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence.
