Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed to practice in Colorado. Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in academic and social settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student IEPs.
  • Provide education and training to parents, teachers, and other staff members on speech and language development and strategies.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology through professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Licensure and Certifications:
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid Colorado State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
