Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician with administrative and research experience to serve as Chief of Infectious Diseases at the Atlanta, GA VA Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative leadership for the VA-based Infectious Diseases Program
  • Supervise resident physicians and attend on the inpatient Infectious Disease consult service
  • Conduct clinical or laboratory research and publish findings
  • Train medical residents enrolled in the training program
  • Collaborate with the current team on research projects, particularly in antimicrobial resistance, HIV, or Hepatitis C
Requirements
