Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery. Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour day shift schedule. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to mothers and newborns, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care, and maintaining accurate and detailed records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and conducting assessments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient charts, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion.
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension.
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
