Job Overview

The Maplewood Brewster LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional care to seniors in a luxurious, home-like environment.

This position involves supervising resident services, assisting with clinical assessments, and training new associates while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a licensed practical nurse with experience in assisted living, dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of the residents.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including C.N.A.'s (Resident Services Assistants), and ensure they adhere to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Assist in supervising the medication program, ensuring timely and accurate administration, and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
  3. Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians by providing exceptional communication and support.
  4. Report significant incidents and changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
  5. Support completion of resident assessments and service plans to ensure individualized care.
  6. Assist with clinical assessments/recertifications as per ALSA requirements to maintain accurate records and optimal care.
  7. Support Resident Services Director in hiring, managing performance, and training within the department.
  8. Assist in the training and participate in orientation of new associates, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s).
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification.
  • Two years full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience.
  • Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
