We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in water quality to join our team at Peak Technical Staffing USA. As a Senior Civil Engineer - Water Quality, you will provide engineering and technical direction to engineering consultants to support the preparation of civil studies, reports, plans, specifications, and construction drawings.
Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and technical direction to engineering consultants to support the preparation of civil studies, reports, plans, specifications, and construction drawings.
Review hydrologic and hydraulic engineering studies as Owner's Representative and provide recommendations for future projects.
Develop equipment and construction specifications.
Provide oversight for utility system capital planning addressing system capacity, end-of-life equipment replacement, and installation of utility infrastructure systems.
Review contract documents and calculations for lift stations, treatment systems, and pipelines.
Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements:
B.S. Civil Engineering (see JD for more info).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, erosion, and sedimentation control.
Experience with design, procurement, and construction support.
AutoCAD (Civil 3D), Revit, Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam Revu.
Effective communication skills (verbally and written) with clients, employees, and management.
Working knowledge of standards and codes applicable to civil utility systems.
