Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collector to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Collector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely collection of medical specimens for testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect medical specimens from clients in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ensure all specimens are collected accurately and on time, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Complete Chain of Custody (COC) forms and Alcohol Testing Forms accurately and within 24 hours.
  • Label specimens as required and upload, fax, or mail COC and Alcohol Testing Forms to the appropriate location.
  • Transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to the designated destination.
  • Maintain accurate records of each specimen collected and support the Record Deletion process as directed by management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Follow DOT Guidelines for Breath Alcohol and Urine collections, and maintain all necessary certifications and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, within the scope of the position.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record with access to dependable and insured transportation.
  • DOT Certification and any other necessary documentation pertaining to this position.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software.
