As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Putnam Hospital Center, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations for patients of all ages. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct ultrasound examinations of diagnostic quality for obstetrical, abdominal, gynecological, cardiac, and vascular patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of examination results and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical sonography techniques and technologies to provide exceptional patient care.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved course of study in Medical Sonography.
- Registered with RDMS.
- Prior experience as a medical sonographer is preferred, but new graduates may be considered.
This role requires standing for 70% of the time and the ability to assist with lifting and positioning patients. The work schedule is as needed by the department, including on-call shifts.
