Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a pediatric endoscopy setting, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including pre-procedure preparation, procedure execution, and post-procedure recovery.
- Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient-centered care and optimizing outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient condition, communicating effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- One (1) year of nursing experience in a pediatric setting, preferably in endoscopy or a related specialty.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to biohazardous waste, communicable diseases, and other potential hazards. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
