Travel Nurse RN

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting.
Job Requirements- Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
- Discipline: RN
- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med Surg / Telemetry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments
- Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage care of patients
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
- Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required
- Must have a strong MS/Tele background
Tact Medical Staffing Job ID # Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
