Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and X-ray.
  • Assess patients' medical histories and current conditions to determine the most appropriate imaging procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
  • ARRT registered; CT Certification strongly preferred or acquired within 6 months.
  • 1-3 years minimum CT experience.
