Job Overview
The Onshore Completion Coordinator is responsible for leveraging their foundational knowledge of completion processes, working under moderate supervision from colleagues and leadership. This role involves addressing a variety of straightforward completion challenges, analyzing potential solutions through established protocols, and enhancing their understanding of the company’s operations, methodologies, and clientele.
The Onshore Completion Coordinator recognizes key business factors and utilizes this insight to tackle problems in uncomplicated scenarios by evaluating potential solutions based on technical expertise, judgment, and established practices.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supervise the execution of onshore construction initiatives, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to guarantee the timely achievement of project milestones.
- Create and manage project completion timelines, monitoring progress and ensuring precise reporting.
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and transition of completed facilities to operational teams.
- Guide and mentor project team members, offering support and direction to facilitate successful project outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in construction completion for onshore oil and gas facilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, particularly concerning safety and environmental considerations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and construction drawings effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with EPCI projects and a solid understanding of related terminology.
