Job Summary

The Senior UI Architect will be responsible for leading the design and development of user interface applications for Citigroup. This role requires a strategic professional who can adapt to the latest trends in the field and apply them to the business. Excellent communication skills are necessary to negotiate with internal stakeholders and guide the team towards a common vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop architectural vision for all IT systems, ensuring that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.
  • Develop architecture, strategy, planning, and problem-solving solutions on an enterprise level.
  • Lead multiple scrum teams across multiple regions working towards common goals.
  • Strategize and lead the development of Single Page UI applications using Angular JS, mono-repos with a focus on reusable components and micro frontends.
  • Maintain continuous awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and act as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative solutions.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level UI applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecting user interfaces, defining components, and design paradigms.
  • 4+ years of experience with Angular 4 and above.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Frontend Web Development, and Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to develop working relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
