Responsabilidades:

  • Realizar evaluaciones para diagnosticar trastornos del habla, lenguaje y deglución.
  • Desarrollar e implementar planes de tratamiento individualizados para abordar los objetivos de comunicación de los estudiantes.
  • Proporcionar servicios de terapia a los estudiantes de acuerdo con sus Programas Educativos Individualizados (IEPs).
  • Colaborar con maestros, padres y otros miembros del personal escolar para apoyar el progreso y éxito de los estudiantes.
  • Mantener documentación precisa de los resultados de las evaluaciones, notas de progreso y planes de tratamiento.
  • Participar en reuniones de equipo, oportunidades de desarrollo profesional y actividades de educación continua.

Calificaciones:

  • Título de maestría en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje de un programa acreditado.
  • Elegibilidad o posesión de licencia estatal como Patólogo del Habla y Lenguaje.
  • Se alienta a los candidatos en su Año de Práctica Clínica (CFY) a postularse.
  • Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y capacidad para trabajar eficazmente en un entorno escolar.
  • Pasión por trabajar con niños y hacer un impacto positivo en sus vidas.
