Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Maintenance Officer to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Altus. As a key member of our hotel's operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including the physical building structure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work, as well as experience in supervising and mentoring staff. You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining top talent, and for ensuring that all work orders are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities, including physical building structure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and related equipment.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure that all work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent.
  • Manage shift operations, including staff scheduling, training, and coaching.
  • Perform repairs on general plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC units.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and operations, with a strong background in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Ability to lift, stand, carry tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
