We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Cashier to join our team. As a Service Cashier, you will play a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction for the business transaction.
Responsibilities- Greet customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner
- Compute customer bills
- Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; record amount received
- Make change and issue receipts to customers
- Provide refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers
- Reconcile cash drawer daily
- Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in price
- Answer customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or refer them to someone who can
- Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate people
- Gather personal information from customers in order to lend out loaner vehicles
- Perform general office duties as required (filing, faxing, scanning, etc.)
- Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise, and refer dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic
- Great attitude with a high-energy personality
- Superior customer service skills
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
Hourly: $15.00/hr
