Job Summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Radiography Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures while observing patient safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, including radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assess patients' understanding of the examination process and obtain informed consent for invasive procedures.
  • Work under the direction of a Radiologist at all times, selecting appropriate equipment and determining the most suitable anatomical posture/positions for patients.
  • Program portable or stationary x-ray machines and produce radiographs for various examinations.
  • Send information to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) efficiently and effectively.
  • Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures, maintaining a safe environment for patients.
  • Assist in maintaining basic records, reports, and files, as well as training students and ancillary personnel.
  • Take x-ray calls and work the appropriate weekend schedule according to the monthly schedule.
  • Work required holidays and maintain current knowledge of local fire and safety regulations.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and clerical responsibilities, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in diagnostic radiography.
  • State of Ohio Radiologic License in Radiographer category.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) [R.T.(R)(ARRT)].
  • BLS Required.
  • 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
