Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Communications Solutions Architect to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classified computing and a complete understanding of communications systems and their operations.

About the Role

The Communications Solutions Architect will provide large and complex hardware, software, database, networking, and telecommunications support to the Nuclear Emergency Support Team Standards and Training Program (NEST). This individual will review needs and incorporate requirements utilizing both off-the-shelf and internally developed hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large and complex networking and computing solutions using various technologies and methods.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for enterprise switch, router, and firewall platforms.
  • Develop and implement solutions in a team environment with high-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain and enhance existing infrastructure to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Engineering related field or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Possess relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
  • In-depth experience architecting complex and/or large networking and computing solutions.
  • Experience working with inline hardware encryption solutions.
