Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging and educational activities that promote creative learning and exploration.
  • Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, student-led learning, free play, bathroom breaks, lunchtime, and rest time for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and leadership to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain a constructive rapport with students and parents.
  • Deliver reports on student progress to leadership.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Qualifications
  • Early childhood experience, at least two years preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
  • CDA (or childcare-related degree) preferred.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks with independence, motivation, and responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Benefits
  • The pay rate range for this position is $16-$20/hour, depending on background and experience.
  • Hired staff are eligible for free childcare services for school and summer camp.
