Job Summary:

OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to perform a variety of complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks. This role requires detailed knowledge of and the ability to operate and maintain the facility's major mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Aid skilled tradespersons in the completion of complex tasks such as equipment installation and troubleshooting
  • Operate and maintain facility's major mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, communication, and fire protection
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless facility operations

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in performing or assisting with preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment
  • 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
