Nursing Assistant Role at Good Samaritan Society

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $40,000-$60,000, depending on experience.
