Key Responsibilities

The following duties are integral to this position:

  • Execute diverse assembly and erection tasks for various water pumping stations and related components, ensuring precision and adherence to strict inspection standards.
  • Carry out fabrication processes, including cutting, grinding, sanding, and bonding of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP).
  • Prepare metallic and non-metallic components through sandblasting and paint preparation.
  • Perform hand welding of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, utilizing a Hydraulic Fusion machine to meet specified requirements.
  • Process parts on a 3-axis CNC machine, including basic setup, operation, and cleanup of cut parts.
  • Utilize band saws, table saws, and drill presses for component processing.
  • Assemble or modify components using various hand tools.
  • Employ precision measuring instruments and gauging devices for quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate high skill levels in assembly techniques, with a solid understanding of design and mechanical principles.
  • Execute wiring tasks in accordance with specifications, optimizing available space for quality workmanship.
  • Interpret complex assembly drawings and specifications, completing all necessary documentation and measurements.
  • Contribute insights on product and process enhancements, as well as revisions to drawings and specifications.
  • Possess or be willing to learn Forklift and Crane operation to facilitate daily responsibilities.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and routings.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English to collaborate with team members.
