Job Title: CDL A Truck Driver 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. As a 2nd Shift float driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle and work area.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of mail and packages.
  • Keep a detailed driver's log or route sheet for mileage, stops, and cargo.
  • Utilize software tools to maintain pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Understand and follow all safety and security precautions and company policies.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for overtime.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Class A License and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
  • Have a minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience and at least 50,000 miles in the last five years driving a tractor-trailer (semi) truck with a safe driving record.
  • Be physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., walking, standing, stooping, and bending with or without accommodations.
  • Have a basic understanding of English to comprehend and follow safety and operational directions communicated in English.
