Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Director to lead our Respiratory Care Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operational, financial, and clinical aspects of our Respiratory Care Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Care Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of respiratory therapists to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program.
  • Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • 2 years of respiratory care experience and 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
