The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $140,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the filing, prosecution, and upkeep of intellectual property both domestically and internationally.
  • Prepare and submit applications to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) along with necessary maintenance filings.
  • Conduct docket reviews and prepare reports accordingly.
  • Engage in correspondence with clients, legal counsel, and external attorneys regarding prosecution and maintenance obligations.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, invoice management, deposit account oversight, practice alerts, and updates on regulatory changes.
  • Draft responses to Office Actions and client communications.
  • Evaluate trademark specimens of use.
  • Conduct investigations regarding the use of trademarks.
  • Perform legal research as required.
  • Facilitate notarization processes.
  • Coordinate the legalization of documents for both domestic and international use.
  • Prepare and file necessary documents for proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in trademark law.
  • Previous experience in a law firm setting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 suite.
  • Familiarity with Clarivate or Corsearch tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering quality client service.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
