Job Overview

Nova Lines is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team on 2nd shift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain mechanical systems of vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and brakes.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Repair and replace worn or broken parts, and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 2 years of experience as a mechanic.
  • Diesel engine repair experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge and certification preferred.
