Job Summary

The Housekeeper at MCR Hotels is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in our hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  2. Stocking and Restocking: Stock guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up and restock as needed.
  3. Trash and Linen Removal: Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  4. Repetitive Duties: Perform repetitive duties such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
  5. Deep Cleaning: Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed within the guest room in conjunction with the maintenance department.
  6. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  7. Attendance and Appearance: Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling and maintain company and brand standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  8. Special Requests: Complete any special requests made by guests or other departments on the behalf of guests.
  9. Maintenance and Lost and Found: Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  1. Positive Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  2. Effective Communication: Must have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
  4. Physical Ability: Physical ability to stand/walk the entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
  5. Stress Management: Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  6. Schedule Flexibility: Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel.
  7. Communication Skills: Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  8. Guest Service: Must have a desire to serve all guests.
  9. Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience: Experience cleaning in a hotel or a related field.
