Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing to lead our Nursing Services Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, while also providing guidance and support to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing care policies and procedures
  • Lead the nursing team in providing high-quality care to residents, including assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or other related healthcare facility
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of nursing care policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
