Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems and software.
